It says that I need to download the update to be able to play online. When I press the button in-game that will supposedly bring me to the update it just opens impulse. I understand that the update is on impulse, but I can't find where. Demigod is not on the list of games that has an update ready for it or anything.
Any help?
Because Stardock released the game a day early, the multiplayer servers that are online are still the servers (or likely server) from the beta. Those are being switched out right now, so multiplayer is spotty at best right now. I would say don't worry about the update for now and check in on it tomorrow. The single player skirmishes will hopefully tide you over 
And I should say, Impulse is where the update will show up.
Do you have your key registered in Impulse? You have to register a valid serial key to get updates.
The update isn't up yet, just ignore it for now. It's for tomorrow, the actual release day for demigod.
