After playing through all the maps and most of the demigods i enjoy this game thoroughly, but i have a good idea to improve performance on lower end machines for this game. My machine is not the lowest of the low by any means but my video card is terrible and is a real bottleneck. Howeve i notice that on the exile map where the distant background is almost entirely black the game runs significantly smoother.
I would suggest an option to black out the background on all the maps or something similar I know this would help some peoples performance at least and i cant imagine it would be to terribly difficult to do.
