Update Registration malfunction?

Pre-ordered collector's edition a while ago, reiceved the key when they were given. Downloaded and installed Demigod without issues was playing singleplayer just fine. I haven't done the update that was released until this moment since I was playing on a friend's computer. I click update and it tells me to update my Registration. I click update registration it gives me a error telling me 'The serial number you have entered is not currently an active registration. (ref:113)
