It is too difficult to win a 4Vs4 difficult level single game!

The AIs on my side seldom kills demigods on the enemy side. And they always go solo and leave me alone. However, AIs on the enemy side always attacking us with 3 demigods get together.......   I always kill the most demigods. And I always get lost.  My god......

Is there someone who can tell me how to win a difficult level single game?

Frankly he is right.

Easy & Normal are more or less the same, walk in the park, but playing on Hard is almost impossible. The enemy levels fast as heck even when you hold the experience bonus flag and have the Citadel upgrades for it.

Next, game starts everyone is level 1, the enemy comes with his minions which dish out abnormal damage - all just demolish my demigod within 5 seconds, while I can't even scrach his health bar. His minions are though and wont die for about 10 seconds of constant hitting, and I have no idea how he bought them, when we have ~1000 start money.

When I start leveling up by killing some grunts, I kill 2-3 of them then 2 enemy demigods come and kill me almost instantly. My demigods on the other hand all mind their busyness not carrying for me or the goal at all.

Frankly I have yet to kill a single demigod on hard difficulity. The one time I actually managed to win the first level of the tournament (conquest), I had like 0 kills and about 30 deaths. Again I managed to get past the first level only once and only with the Rook, it's 10 times harder with any other demigod, which again defeats the purpose of having 8 to pick from.

Bascially I have a feeling, the enemy AI on hard cheats (has more XP gain, more gold and more damage output), like it's common in most games.

It's a great game, but not playable for me on hard and I already hear complains from my friends and also on other forums. Easy is fine, Normal is way to easy and Hard is insane or not doable. I have no fun playing at Hard, cause I just get steamrolled over all the time.

AI Rook on Normal gets triple kills in my games. AI rook on Hard goes 2-18. I'm glad taking the difficulty up one notch basically means I have to solo with a team that feeds.

IIRC, hard means the AI is the same as you (i.e. no bonus money or xp).   You might try to direct your allies by pinging the map (press the "P" key when you have your mouse over the area of interest) where you want your allies to go.

Why are so many people complaining about this? If anything, hard should help you learn map control, and enough people have beat the tournament on hard that these complaints are not justified. It can and should be done, you just need to practice a little and realize that most of us who are beating it are the ones who participated in the beta. Learn some basic builds and how to spec out your demigod, then start to learn some finesse in map control and all of the sudden the tournament on hard isn't too bad. Granted, some demigods lend themselves to having a gimped team more than others, but I'm pretty sure it is beatable with every demigod (I've done it with Erebus, though he is much more challenging than QoT with map control IMO). Just like every computer game, the AI is predicatable and can be taken advantage of (it still likes to chase into towers and usually never does a full retreat when it should).

I already beat one campaign on hard (Rook) and am busy working on a second (Regulus).  Its not that hard, except on the war flag maps (the ones where you have to reach a certain war score first).  Slaughter maps come close, but even they are quite doable.

I finished a Beast tourney on Hard.  It isn't impossible, but it is quite difficult.  I can take the enemy one on one, but my teammates cause a number of problems.  For one, they feed endless amounts of kills and experience to the enemy.  Additionally, they somehow manage to operate with no level of cooperation or coordination, opposed to the enemy team who often operates in pairs or a group of three or four.

Also, the Demigods with support abilities never seem to use them.  I was specifically keeping track of this, and I was healed by Sedna once and Bramble Shielded by QoT once.  Both of these instances allowed me to do something awesome at a critical moment which gave my side a decisive advantage.  If they did it more often, I can't begin to imagine how much easier it would have been.

I don't even want to try and play Hard with a support Demigod.  Yes, I know they can hold their own in combat, but imo one of their main strengths is their ability to keep their allies in the fray.  Seeing as my allies are fairly stupid, well...

Just as a side note, Regulus seems about 100 times better than the other AI.  He held 2nd place by a very large margin for the entire tourney.  Also, the AI Rook is a total idiot.  Didn't see him Boulder Slam once and he always managed to be about 5 levels lower than everyone else on the map.  He came in solid last place in the tourney.

Erebus also enjoys charging towers.  You can see Regulus making these endless fake outs, moving up and falling back trying to stay at maximum range while luring enemies into tower range, but Erebus just kind of blindly charges at people and gets himself killed.

One final note:  I played on The Brothers for 5/8 matches.  Could we get a better map rotation algorithm?

i have just tried the hard mode to make my own opinion, it is hard, not impossible, you just have to focus on what is going on and do no to too many mistakes. Just remember that even if you team will lose a match or 2 it doesn't mean you can't win points during those defeats. So if you see that you will lose, just go for the more kill, kill streak, gold spend,....

The devs should maybe add a new difficulty level between normal and hard, but hard seems fine to me as it is.

One thing that can be a huge help on Hard is to grab the XP favor item as soon as you have the favor points.  That counters some of the problems with keeping up with the AI level-wise.
