How can I get demigod to run better?

When I play a single player match I'm getting around 2-3 fps with all settings low, I also play world of warcraft, and with settings on high I can do a 25 man raid with 20+ fps, To me, Demigod doesn't seem like its too much for my computer, is there any way i can improve this?

System specs:

Windows XP home edition service pack 3

Intel Celeron

3.20GHz

1.5 gb RAM

DirectX 9.0

NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT (512 MB)

 

Any help would be awesome, Thanks

I would have to agree.  Even though its clock speed exceeds the minimum requirement, Celeron processors really aren't intended for gaming.

Something you might want to try:

 

Turn the sound in the game down to the low quality setting and turn off reverb.

Set your Windows Control Panel sound options to Stereo(if it isn't there already).

 

We've had several people now reporting that increases their game performance.
