Is there a way to select a Random Demigod to play?  Like Random race in other RTSes?

I'm not finding it.

They is a way, use the dg u get when u join the game, after the match, close dg completely and reopen it

If you want a simple way to do a "random" Demigod, open Excel, make the following table:

Demigod Less than or = to
1 0.125
2 0.250
3 0.375
4 0.500
5 0.625
6 0.750
7 0.875
8 1.000

Where Demigod 1-8 is the demigod, and the numbers in the right column are equal to (8/1)(Demigod Number) or (.125)(Demigod Number).

Then, in another cell, type (without the quotes) "=rand()"

This will give you a random digit between 0 and 1.  Wherever this digit falls is the Demigod you get!

I think there should be a random button that gives you a nice looking random pic on your hero page.. so you can pick up more chicks at the bar.... and get a random hero tatoo...

you could just move your hand really fast without looking and select the first hero you click on....yeah i would definatly enjoy a "random" button with maybe some bonus gold for randoming.

Ok, here's a way to get random.

Get a coin. Then flip it. If it's head, you're light side, tails dark side. Then flip it again. Heads for generals and tails for assassins. Then flip it again. Heads = top DG (that fits other criteria) and tails = bottom DG (that fits other criteria). There, random DG!
