anyone else cant play after todays patch?

i had no toruble all day yesterday, or throughout the beta, but now i cant play the game at all because it slows to a laggy crawl after about 20 seconds, even in single player, whats changed?

I to have noticed a change from the worst since the patch. Didn't have many problems before.
