quick question...

all my other requirements are ok, but i gotta wonder,I have a AMD Athlon64 3700+ cpu which comes out to like.....  2.2 GHz

 

Will it still run on this?

will it run? yes.

 

will it run well? probably not. if you're planning on upgrading soon, then buy a copy and see how it fares.

I'm not familiar with AMD athelon64.   If this is single core, no it will not run it.    If this is dual core, yes it will run it.

the ghz speed doesn't matter imho.

the athlon64 series overpowered the p4's . ususaly the model number ended up being almost the equivilant in pentium 4 mhz, so 3700 -> 3.7Ghz equivilancy (most likely a bit less).

Single core works fine btw, im running on a p4 3ghz (530j prescott)+ 4870 512, everything maxed out (except aa)
