Is there a multiplayer portion to this game?

So far the game is a major disappointment for me...Still be unable to connect to any multiplayer games. I'm now starting to question if the games listed in the lounge are just ghosts put there to make it appear as though the game has a multiplayer mode.

Also how many times is it going to freeze up on the menu screens? especially the multiplayer menus... Can't believe how many times I've had to close out using the task bar. (and it's not my system, graphics card or driver!)

Are you getting any errors, or are you just not connecting to other players in the Connection Details popup?

Multiplayer menu latency will be due to server calls. Right now the servers are heavily loaded; we added more yesterday afternoon and are adding even more servers today.

Last I played was maybe 12 hours ago, and I was able to join games and play games but it took a little longer than I'd like to get in and it seemed the odds of some/all the players in the game disconnecting midgame  are around 50/50 for me.  If you can't connect to any games at all, it's safe to say it's a problem on your end, as the servers are working, albeit far from optimally.  You should post more information about your hardware and what problem you are experiencing.

Are you guys planning on doing something about that? At least a dialog with "Accessing Servers... Please Wait". Optimally with a Cancel button. The connection problems are bad enough, but as has been so often pointed out, not unheard of for a game using a new backend; that the game responds to most of the issues by blocking on the network calls with no notification to the user and no way to abort it aside from the task manager takes it to a whole new level of frustration.

I was not getting any errors, it would just hang with the attempting to connect window for 5-10 minutes. I finally got into my first multiplayer game today(Saturday) after trying since tuesday...lag time and menu freezing seems to have improved. Hopefully it will continue to get better...
