Multiplayer Experience Improvement Suggestions

some suggestions to improve ur customers multiplayer experience

First of all I want to say Great job guys on the 4-16-2009 patch which greatly improved multiplayer gameplay and now allows us to boot people who arent connecting to other players but now I have some suggestions to improve your customers multiplayer experience even more.

1) Allow us to pick between Pantheon 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5, or 6v6 matches or at least big games or small games. Sometimes I feel like playing a big game with lots of REAL players but i get matched up for 2v2 or 1v1 games in which half or my opponents if not all leave by the end of the game and im left playing against the AI.

2) REMOVE THE AI's, all that they do is feed the players on the opposite team when a player leaves the game.

3) Map Editor, Im surprized this wasnt included in the release of the game, it would be pretty cool to allow players to make their own maps so we could have a custom game community like Warcraft III and Starcraft II have even years after the games were released people still play them just because of the user created custom maps.

4) Add more Demigods and Maps, right now theres only a handful of both.

thats all for now, I hope my suggestions get implemented as I feel they would add a positive experience to the game. Thanks for your hard work and for listening to your customers, its hard to find companys that do that once they already have your money these days (wink wink EA Games)

...I think I lol'ed.

While we're at it, can we have five new gamemodes? Can we also have customizable clothes? Can we have it in a month? Your suggesting they add an expansion to the game sir. Like they really had no intentions to do all of this. Before any new demigods, they need to fix multiplayer. 3v3+ games take hours to finish because of the massive lag, which ultimately finishes the game with a net split, ruining any game.

His demands arent that extreme.  This game had an open beta that cost $40 to play, and was in beta for a year or so, if I recall correctly.  They launched a game ridden with bugs and was practically unplayable, and left out many key aspects of rts games.  Either the amount of employees developing this game is low, or they were lazy.

I believe suggestion 3) and 4) are quite extreme at the moment. I'm sure more demigods and maps will be implemented later, but for now those requests are extreme imo. Talking about designing new demigods, testing them and their skills is not something that takes a day or two. I would rather they concentrating on fixing bugs and multiplayer issues for now and later, when the overall game runs smoothly, start designing and implementing add-ons. The game has been out for 3 days - can't expect new demigods and maps already. I haven't played the beta so I'm well-entertained for now :)
