Demigod has begun crashing on me lately.

Hello.

 

The game, once connected and loaded, ran fine for a couple of days.

Today, however, I have experienced 3 seperate crashes. Two times, the game froze while loading

a map, then would not let me alt-tab away or escape to the task manager. I had to do a hard boot

with all my crap running in the background. Twice. Not fun.

 

The third and thus far last time the game loaded, and two seconds after the match started, I was

booted to the desktop with an exception error, which I will post below.

 

Now, it speaks to the good-ness of the core game that I am probably going to try one or two

more times to play before I put this thing down until it is patched up properly, however:

The game stills seems to be a few elephants shy of stable and complete.

 

Now that I am an active member of the community, I would like to see things progress to where

the game experience provides "more playin' and less prayin'", so if you need any more information

from me, want me to send dxdiag readouts, tests you want me to perform, etc... just let me know

and I will send them to a dev email.

 

I feel like I deserve some sort of fresh-baked cookies package in the mail after waiting two years

for the retail and then becoming a beta tester anyways, but, hey, that's life right?

 

At least I have a chance of someone taking me up on my offer and getting things done around here.

Okay, I just booted the game up and experienced exactly the same crash.

Unfortunately, I did not copy the error message this time, as I did not realize killing

the main application would also shut down the exception error window.

 

However, there is now a pattern. Both games I started a new, offline tournament,

and chose lord erebus as my demigod.

 

Both times the game loaded, I opened the shop screen, bought two teleport scrolls

and a large blue potion, then closed the item screen. Both times, as soon as I clicked

the x on the items screen, the game froze, and I threw an exception error.

 

So, that has to mean something, right?
