Hey guys, since we can't play on the official servers let's just organize our own

Hamachi is very easy to use.  Download it, install it, and then create or join a network.  Then your computers will think they are on a LAN and you can play the game by going to multiplayer and then Local Area Network.

Since we don't know how long these problems will persist I think it's worthwhile for us to organize games like this until the problem is solved.  I can't play right now but I reccommend you guys try it out.

Just post Hamachi networks in this thread and people can join them and organize games.

I did everything in the guide, I can see all other users in the HAmachi and ping but I can't see any hosted games.

If you can ping them but they cannot ping you I believe that is an issue with your firewall.

I'm with senoxxx. I was able to see my friend w/Hamachi, we could ping each other, but couldn't see a game.  Heh, I have better luck using regular online!

If you cant see your friends game its most likely the order of the network adapters

 

Hamachi is its own adapter and so is your internet connection.  Smart games will check ALL of them.  Demigod checks the FIRST ONE ONLY.

 

Start Hamachi - connect

Get everyone connected to hamachi

Right click on your internet connection *(real one not hamachi one)* and DISABLE IT

Start the game, go to LAN in Demigod

Tab out - Turn your internet connection back on

 

Now you will see each other.

 

The alternative, and better choice is GET GAMERANGER! It works without all the crap
