Add an announcement box to your overlay please!! servers down for 4 hours!

I think your Stardock Overlay needs to have an announement panel, as your game servers have been down for 4-5 hours so far, now its not a huge deal for US customers, its lunchtime here in the UK/ Europe and fairly full of people wanting to game who arent really sure whats going on and why nothing is working.

 

An ingame announcement panel would re-assure people it is being worked on at least.

Instead of an overlay though I'd prefer a webpage so we don't have to launch the game to see the status. BTW I'm from UK and spend my morning trying.

The servers apparently went down late last night US time.

They are back up now.

BTW when you say "appereantly" does it mean you just figured out and no one was even aware of that your servers were down for 12+ hours?

It is possible they were sleeping... people do that say from 10pm till 8am...

Even the smallest web hosting companies with 2 employees have got standard procedures to handle these kind of situations. So you think it's normal a game company based on multiplayer gaming who targets whole world, during the launch time can just sleep and not a get a simple alarm that their servers down?
