Favor item question

Im confused on how favor items work

I was under the assumption that winning gave you favor pts, which unlocked favor items

but are these pts a currency, that if i spent em id have to re-unlock the items(get their value in points again)

Once you purchase a favor item, that item remains unlocked for the rest of your career in future games.  Getting that same favor item in any future game is free...but keep in mind you can only ever have one favor item in a game.

That means if you equip an unlocked favor item, you have to wait until the next game to unlock a different item.

Once you've unlocked that item, you can use it in any future games without spending further favor points.  However the points spent to unlock it are 'lost', and need to be reaccumulated to buy another item.

 

Example: You have 550 points, and at the beggining of game 1, you spend 250 points to unlock the Brilliant Bauble.  You now have 300 points remaining.  You win game 1, and get 110 additional points, brining you up to 410.  Game 2, you decide to use the bauble again.  No further points are spent, so upon winning Game 2for another 125 points, you now have 535 points.  Game 3, you decide to buy the Swift Anklet.  That brings you down to 85 points.  Make sense?

Unfortunately it doesn't work this way for the moment. Getting the same artifact that was already purchased will cost the same amount of favor points, hence the issues with players getting negative favor. At least, that's what's happening for me.

i had 650 favor point and now it went to -950 WTF... MAN BULLSHIT! and whenever i used the favor item my shit goes back to -1750 bullshit...

From what I hear, that's after some sort of Multiplayer game it resets or something.

I wouldnt know cause I havnt been able to get multiplayer to work :(

Yes.  Theoretically it's SUPPOSED to work that way and does in SP.  It unfortunately bills you again in MP right now even for unlocked items. :(
