So, I'm getting random disconects. Is this probably my ISP's fault?

After resorting to using GameRanger, I've been able to get into demigod games just fine.  However, I'm still having one problem: I haven't been able finish any of these games.  My connections to the games just randomly die, while the rest of my internet stays up. 

I began to suspect that this is Comcast's fault after doing some research, and after remembering that I have simmilar problems whenever I run any game on Hamachi, which also does peer to peer for all games that runs on it (even old ones like starcraft).  I've called them about it, but their stupid customer service people don't even seem to know what peer to peer is, lol.  They claimed that it was my routers fault, so I removed that, and I just got disconected from another game in the same manner as before: the game dies, but the rest of my internet stays up.

Before I go throw a fit at Comcast or switch to another ISP, I'm wondering if there are any in game bugs or something else that could be blamed on it.  I mean, it obviously isn't a firewall or port forwarding problem since I was able to get into the game and play for 10-20 minutes.

i think i got a problem similar atleast.

i keep ejecting players out of my games... i dont want to but a screen pops up letting me know i'm ejecting the other players and shabam! no one left to play with or at best one guy left to play with. i think it's because of the sim speed coupled with lag. I got a pretty mean machine for a computer. dual 9800gtx+ vid cards, evga 790 i ultra mobo 4 gigs corsair ram... etc. i always run the game at sim speed 10. i noticed other players run at anywhere from -4 up to 10. most of the time other players are running the sim speed from 2-8. well i know even at -4 on lan there is no problems. but when i get into a internet game and someone starts to lag it, it isnt long before i start ejecting players. and it usually doesnt just eject one. infact i've never seen it eject just one.

if it's anythign liek warcraft then i'd say it was me who was lagging and it's me thats getting ejected. but i dont think thats the case and if it was then why i'd like to know. even if not why the heck do i have to run the game super slow to accomodate some cheap dude that shouldnt be playing anyways.
