I wish to have in demigod an option to make mi discard automatically match in which there are more then one copy of the same demigod or a particulary demigod: in my case a TorchBearer or Regulus (main ranged attack). That's to avoid unfair game until rebalance and rework are made.
no thank you I dont feel like being limited from choosing the DGs I like.
But at least let people who don't like such situation and unfair gameplay to choose to avoid this game before joining. Or create their own game with such rules. Given the fact that the game is way far to be balanced and countering is difficult with the same copy of an unbalanced demigod, letting people choose is a thing that should be implemented.
There's only eight characters right now. You want to further restrict peoples selections?
why do you think the game is somehow unfair or unbalanced if there's more than one ranged DPS demigod on a team?
both TB and Regulus are extraordinarily vulnerable to Unclean Beast, who runs faster than they do and tears them apart in seconds once he gets into melee range. they also have a certain amount of trouble against defensive builds of Queen of Thorns and Sedna. and a well played Erebus has little trouble against them as well.
honestly this post seems like its mostly whaa whaa whaa, and has no real complaint other than "i just lost to some good players who were using TB and Regs"
Why not? If its an OPTION, you dont have to pick it. The automatcher could even say what has been picked in a game if your DG you chose is and give you the availible.
I think it's a cool idea and I would play it plety!

Seems like a noob idea, someone who can't handle more than one of a hero. Whatever though, as long as it has nothing to do with Pantheon and doesn't effect ladder for skirmish/custom games.
Or maybe someone who wants to play a game thats different then normal?
But yes, it shouldnt have anything to do with any sort of ladder, just a fun option.
(Cause it sucks to see three of the same DGs on a team)
I think that being the game so limited in other fields, having a lot of differentiation in multiplayer mode will be the only way to follow. Maybe in the future there will be many tournament or pantheon versione (like a true pantheon, with only one copy of a demigod to better follow the lore) and people could choose where to play.
About me being a noob like many of you have stated, that's a really very mean way to avoid confrontation and game improvement. I admit myself to not being a advanced player but I think I don't have to apologize more than that. As I said, facing 2 copies of the same demigod it's still a thing that make balancing difficult. Also TB is known for being a not so balanced demigod: it has ranged attack, speed (he can run for sure, even against people with +15% speed), does a lot of damage, spam stun without falling short of mana). Chasing someone that can attack you ranged, run and attack again, istant heal and kill you it's not fun and even not challenging expecially with 2 of them playing volleyball with your head. I even saw that they can kill fortress pretty fast with that ring of fire of their. TB has an attack that subtract you half of your life, and he still have mana left. It's not a point of want to win, but at least to have challenge even in defeat.
