Help / suggestions RE joining midmatch and name changes

Hello,

I have noticed that no one ever joins a game midmatch.  Is that on purpose?  It sucks when two of your teammates drop and the only choice is to play an outmatched round.

Also, stupid me, I originally created my account name with something lame.  I went and changed it in the account preferences here, and it has changed my login name, but not the name displayed in game.  Call me an idiot, but I think what people care about changing is their in game display name --not necessarily the login username.  Oh well, next time I'll be more careful.
