Cannot Log on to Demigod, single impulse account

A Friend just purchased this for me, but not through impulse (which doesnt appear to have any type of gifting...one up on steam?). The game was purchased through the site. Not through impulse. I then registered the serial key to my impulse account. Why can't I log on? I have created the impulse account about 2 hours ago. Is it too new? I have also already verified my email address. This is not a situation of merging accounts as only one impulse account is involved...mine.

Also, I have attempted using my impulse email address to log on...no dice.

Help please?

Have you downloaded the impulse program, and then see if you can log on from there? It's a small program but it will insert itself into the startup if you don't disable the option in its menu (I suggest disabling it unless you're a stardock fanatic).

I would suggest to ask stardock support directly for this.

Impulse does support gifting, but it must be done at checkout. If your friend did not explicitly purchase the game as a gift, it will have linked it to his email address and that'll most likely be the source of any issues with the registration or in-game login. As spooky noted, support should be able to figure out where things at at and get them put in the right place.

Ive downloaded impulse...which is what I used to download the game.

The game was not bought through impulse, but rather the demigod website. The serial number was then linked to my impulse account.

Any other ideas?
