A nice strategy i found to take down ANY AI and nub players (and a good strategy overall)

Looks like Demigod is in fact based on Generals while Assasins are only there to kill other Demigods
yet i came to a conclusion that Generals can both kill other Demigods and own the entire map:

Here is a WIN game from Hard Skirmish:

If you wounder how did i managed to get my demigods to such lvls
it because i found a uber way to get exp and gold
as you can see both teams got 2 generals and 1 assasin
the assasins only there to fight off other demigods buy they are weak on thair own
that is why there are 2 more generals in the team
Me as general + minions + support wave + buffs Vs noob general (ai..) + support wave and no buffs = insane exp and gold flow
Me + Rook the ai nub + support wave + my minions and me healing Rook = owning the map
I left Oak on his own as i cant be on 2 fronts in the same time hoped he as General and his minions will do good
well he did helped but me and Rook did the most of it
check out Rooks damage

Oak got most of his exp by taking flags and fighting support waves alone
while all the enemy ai focused on me and rook

I think this strategy is not only good against any sort of AI but also MP
as even a human player will have a hard time against Assasin (even if hes a nub) supported by a General
with his minions and buffs + support wave...

I will try to make a vid next time to show the best way to make uber AOE + DPS with insane exp and gold flow
only by using a general

So, teaming up 2 on 1 is your winning strategy? Do i miss something here? 8|

If not, yes it is a good strategy and works most of the time.

But it is hardly new.

*sight* i guess i didnt explained it well ^^

the point is to use the ai as sort of both weapon and shild (in this case Rook)
that is insted of you fighting and reciving damage, rook do it insted of you
rook go in, you stay out, send your minions to help rook, you heal rook, you buff support waves and minions

the thing is that many players said they have a problem with ai on hard outlvl them

and while you dont spend money on equipment + the uber exp and gold income from massive battles
that you make with your minions + support Vs even support wave + general or assasin
if you lucky and enemy general is against rook then rook kills him for massive exp boost and you kill the minions
and support wave for gold boost

You then go to upgrade the citadel and get stronger minions (still without equipment)
after rook got his uber equipment and hit lvl 20 you spend all your gold on yourself
by that time you and rook (in this example as it can be any demigod) go in with massive upgraded support wave
and take the enemy down in 1 hit, all the way from the middle of the map to his base.

During this time Oak fights flank support waves and scares away other demigods + protecting flags

the end!

We never play on anything less that nightmare AI, and there is normally one extra AI - hard becomes very easy very quickly.

bad post...

AI is bad.

Any game with AI in it imo can't be used as guide for either strategies or balancing because it is frankly just not good.

Real games, with real opponnets are the only real games.

End of Jaradakar's quote

Considering the AI is better than most players online, I would disagree.

Also, to the TC, I honestly do not think anyone understands you because you keep saying uber.

The AI is just fine for me because I am novice enough not to have won a game against it at all so far. I am not ashamed to be at this point in the learning curve for the game. heh.

In other words, use team work and you'll beat a team that doesn't use team work?

I beat SP Tournament on Hard difficulty no problem on day 2 with Oak.  Hard AIs progress equally with you if you have a slightest idea of what you are doing.  Unfortunately I cannot keep up with Nightmare mode dealing with Normal AIs on my team.  I can keep up with levels for much of the round until about halfway through after they've gotten the enormous gold difference and thus item advantage.
