Patch?

Was trying to get a game today, didn't realize that there was a patch until I saw some people referring to it in multiplayer.  I then went and downloaded it.  I have 2 questions.

1) Why wasn't the patch advertised on the forums?  I looked but didn't see a post.

2) Is this the patch that's supposed to fix all the connection issues?  After patching the game up, I didn't notice a difference at all.  Still takes forever to get a game, people still drop their connections like flies as soon as a game starts, etc.

well the people that are droppen is for the most part euro players due to the way their internet works at least thats what frog said before the patch.

i just played a game but it was 3 light v 1 drk and 2 ai

the patch didnt do a whole lot ppl still having problems like woca said the major patch will be in a few days friday maybe

Why didn't the game  let us know when we logging into multiplayer there was a new patch? Been playing all night without knowing there was one...

The patch doesn't fix bug/glitches and balance it's an update for the connectivity issue.

After the connectivity issue is solved then they will focus their attention on Balancing and fixing problems.
