Radeon 3200 integrated graphics (desktop)

How well does it run Demigod/anyone have it?

Will the Radeon 3200 integrated video card on the 780g motherboards run Demigod smoothly at medium res/settings?  Would really appreciate some feedback or personal experience.

Usually integrated video card isnt very good ): Not 100% sure about that exact one though.

I wouldnt recommend running any intesive game with an integrated card because either a) it will not work or b) it will work with glitches or c) it will work but be damn slow. Integrated video is not meant for serious gaming.

Thanks for the responses.  I realize the hinderances of IGP; the Radeon 3200 is one of the best IGP's and it's still not ideal for gaming.  Just wondering because it does exceed the requirements/recommendations and it tested decently for far more system intensive games.  I found an old thread that said the Radeon 3200 runs the game rather smoothly but I wanted to see if that was true/still the case.

I'm playing on my cheap Puma based laptop and it runs Demigod fine on low fidelity settings at 1280x800 resolution. I'm quite sure you can push it more given that you have a more powerful processor. If not, I suggest you buy an ATI 3450 GPU to Hybrid Crossfire with your motherboard's IGP to get you those medium settings cheap. :-)

BTW, here are my laptop's specs:
AMD Athlon QL-60 (1.9 MHz 512 MB cache)
AMD 780 G (ATI 3200 HD)
4 GB DDR2 667 MHz

And yeah, Demigod convinced me to save up for a more powerful Phenom II based desktop with (hopefully) an equally nice ATI GPU (PC 4890 PCS please... LOL!).

Sounds good.  My friend played Demigod today at a 1024x768 res with low settings and the graphics looked fine to me, so I'd be all right with those settings.  Do you encounter a slowdown when a lot of units are on screen and a lot of spells are being used?

It plays fine on my 3200 based laptop.

I don't remember experiencing slow downs, if there were any they barely bothered me at all. If you're on a desktop then I suggest dropping an ATI 3450 to hybrid crossfire with your integrated card, that shouldn't cost you more than $30 to boost graphics performance by around 60 - 80%. If you're on a laptop, I suggest you stick with lower resolution settings when playing against humans 'cause any unexpected frame-skipping might kill you.

Again though, I haven't experienced any slow downs when playing at 1280x800 at low fidelity settings.

The Puma does some respectable gaming, though I wouldn't use it for everything.  It certainly stomps all over my old 6600GT/single core ath64 desktop in Demigod.

according to the manual that comes with the game, you just need shader model 3.0 to run the game. I looked at AMDs site to see if the IGP supported that, but couldn't find the specifics...just a bunch of ads with vague information. I know the radeon 4670 is available that doesn't require any additional power, and e-tails for about 80 USD. Sapphire makes a DDR4 version of the card as well.

Shader model 3 has been in all AMD 3xxx models.  Possibly even the 2xxx, as I have no idea.  I wasn't into AMD graphics stuff until recently.
