Hi,
Thanks for your response. I've been informed I got the details I had were wrong: my friend had downloaded the full version of the game including all the recent patches. When we copied all his files and logged into impulse with our own logins, it still did not recognise that we had the game files already and kept on asking us to downlod the full game (over two gigs which would be over 4 gigis for me and my other friend). We could play online but could not see custom games and it seems like we did not have the latest patch even though we had exactly the same files as our friend. We then tried to archive his game, copied the files again and open the archive with impulse but it would not open.
We are playing from South Africa so 4 gigs of download will take a month and cost a ton of money. We have legitimate serial keys and are keen to play. Did we miss files to copy or is our software information bound to our impulse account such that even though we may have the full version on our machines if we did not individually download them they will not be recognised?
