Long overdue do to personal stuff, the first gameplay video in high quality is here.

Some of you may know me from Sins of a Solar Empire (be sure to check them out here) where i did the same thing and i hope people will like these videos as well :)

 

All settings were set to highest possible on resolution 1680x1050

Each part will be 5-15min long and have a size of 200MB

I started doing the 200mb files so i can upload them to gametrailers.com as that is there limit. Also not all wants to download a single huge file of 2-3GB. So 200mb seems about nice for those that just want a quick look :)

Those that just want a quick look can check YouTube or GameTrailers. If you didn't use Windows Movie Maker, you would be able to split the files in 200MB pieces for uploading to GameTrailers.

People who really want to watch it can download the big file.

In any case, at the very least, you should've waited until they were all uploaded before posting.

Well its a matter of opinion, i do personally like the 200mb files because if you fail to download the 3gb file for what ever reason you may have to redownload the entire thing. So with 200mb its only that :P

And no, im not using windows movie maker for these :)

Worth it? i dunno, it does alot damage and can help take down a Demigod. But in my experience it hits only those that stand still for too long.

When i know the game is about to end, and i cant get enough gold for a new item/artifact, i will buy it

 

No matter what, it sounds cool and have some humor to it :grin:

This could be quite useful as an educational tool: in vid x at time m:ss see what player z did there, avoid that, but what player Y did was very good... etc.

That would leave you open to criticism though, and as the vids are rather nice I'd rather avoid that, so far I'm watching with interest :grin:

Wish there were some documentation with the game tbh; got it off impulse a few days ago and just worked most things out by trying in skirmish/tourney vs AI. I saw in the video stuff like 'I'm confused about the warscore, why is ours so low??' And for my first few games I had the same thing, untill one of the little info messages during a map load told me:

Warscore comes from controlling flags.

 

Lots of things like that can be learned from vids like these for instance, which would be much more entertaining than a manual anyway ^_^

Oh im open for criticism :) Tho i learned alot since i made that video. If anyone wants to do what you say, feel free to do so :)

There are no tutorial with Demigod? never clicked single player :P So yeah i can agree some sort of tutorial is needed

where is EETs, I've been untouched for too long, and he is the damn reason I bought Demigod and he isn't even around to play! XO

 

also these are movies Multi recorded of himself playing demigod using his own movie making software, demigod does not allow for built in video recording as far as I know.
