This game should still be in beta

*begin rant *

I don't understand how a game like this could be released when there are so many obvious issues.

First of all, the engine itself is still buggy. The sound engine is still screwing up the game, and there's plenty of people out there (myself included) who can only play with /nosound. How do you release a game that only works when you disable sound?! From the looks of the forum, there's enough people out there with this problem that it should've been caught in beta.

Second, for a primarily multiplayer game, the MP experience really sucks. I have yet to play a game till the end out of >15 attempts. SOMEBODY drops. Its not leaver (becuase I've been the one dropped twice), and half the time its the guy who is winning who leaves. This is a MULTIPLAYER game -- at least get the multiplayer connection issues sorted out.

And as far as matchmaking in skirmish -- NEVER EVER EVER match uneven teams or place AI bots. They ruin the game completely.

There should also be a way to select the game type when going into skirmish.

All in all, there are just too many problems with this release -- it feels like its still in beta!!

I've ran into a few bugs now too, some other people have seen and some that I can't find anyone else has ran into. All in all, I really like the game, just disappointed that the game isn't running smoothly.

I can't say I've actually seen anyone in here answering people's questions either which comes as a surprise. Just other players verifying the same problem or problems not getting any responses.

One thing I really want is for the game to AUTOMATICALLY END when the enemy team is all AI bots.

This happens when working with low budget companies I guess.  I think 1 more month in testing the nat connection would have helped.

I feel exactly the same about the multiplayer experience.  One of the game's biggest selling points is the multiplayer, yet there are tons of issues with it.

End of kikosxl's quote

Multiplayer isnt the biggest selling point its the only selling point.

It's the same old method of making the consumers become investors.

Instead of paying for a finished product, they sell us a broken game and use our money to make a finished product.  Therefore as consumers, we can't enjoy a product out the gates, but rather, we keep our fingers crossed hoping our money produces a good product...just like an investor.

It's a distugusting tactic.

Disgusting, yes, but is it working? I, for one, am anxiously awaiting these proxy servers.

Time will tell I suppose.

I dont mind paying for a game if they actually improve it.

I do mind paying for an unfinished product.
