1.04.059 = Lots of crashes

I get a TON of crashes with the latest 1.04.059 patch, all of them at the technology screen when I press the Next button (and this has never happened before). It is so severe that the game is basically unplayable for me. Stardock, please fix asap!

Sigh, now im stuck at a turn that regardless of what I do, every time i press the Turn button the game immediately crashes

Sigh (again), reinstalled the game, the bonus pack, and the update, still crashes like crazy

Have you bothered to install Smart Exception so they can actually see what is going wrong? This version has not crashed once on me so far. Smart Exception will let them see where in the stack of system calls it blew up and went bye-bye.

Hmmm...The next button only appears on the research screen when the GNN is supposed to come up...

In your AutoSave folder (or the folder of your latest save game), delete your events.civ0 file before you load your save game and that should fix your save game.
