How do you get tourney experience?

You mean favor?  Yes, you still get favor.

Are you sure about that? I mean, I know the endgame says you got it but have you seen it applied to your next round?

im not sure i mean favor...when i go to see the tournament ranking, im talking about the "exp" there.  is that merely favor?

No, 'exp' is your ELO rating. Everyone starts with 1000, and you gain/lose it based on who you play. If you win against a higher ranked opponent you gain more and they lose more, if you lose against a higher ranked opponent they gain less and you lose less.

I've also been wondering about this. I'd like to see know the actual calculations being done, mostly because I have a decently positive win/loss ratio, and I'm sitting at 915 Experience. Kinda bugs me not knowing why. Something that helped in Sumpreme commander was the added transparency that came from being able to see the change in your Rating/Experience after every match. I understand that it's probably a lot easier on the server to have it only update at midnight, but when I win 6 matches, lose 3, and have a net loss of 50 Experience it would be nice to know which match was responsible.

so when, im fighting a human and an AI, and halfway thru the human drops...should i finish the match? do i get exp?

As far as I know, the AIs also have a rating and are treated as players in that case. But it'd be nice if someone official commented because I can't say it as fact.

im wondering how many of my losses are me leaving  agame because its against AI.  And how many points im losing because teh opposing team drops, tehn I drop becaues i dont feel like a comp stomp.

This is not always the case. Two scenarios that I have experienced:

1) Two humans on opposing team leave the game within the first 5 minutes. Me and my teammate decide to finish it out for the exp. and favor. We do so in another 10 minutes or so, but the game was never recorded at all.

2) Immediate disconnect upon game starting. I finished out the game against the AIs for the exp. and favor, but when I checked online a bit later, the win had been recorded as a loss with far less favor points. I think in this case, the game with the most humans in it (i.e. if I were the only one to disconnect and the other 3 humans played with 1 AI) becomes the game that is recorded for all who could have/should have participated.

I'm not sure if this is intended behaivor, or just the pantheon system being messed up. Probably the later.

how do you check  your wins and losses though, isnt it updated on the webby only once per day?

Your game list is updated immediatly. I think a few other stats update right away too, it only seems to be ranking and favor points that take over night.

its def listing some of my game drops (for example, when i come in and its two of us vs one human, i leave because im not playing for a steamroll i want some human opponents that have a chance) as losses then, i know i didnt lose 9 times.
