I've gotten paired with two other regulus's. It sounds great because 'hey we can snipe at the same time', but it's not fun when you dont have a melee partner.

Twin TB is imba if one goes Frost and the other Fire, so no complaints here :)

yes that's quite annoying, the system mut be fixed. Also it happens alot to come 2 v 1+ai

Yes and it's FLUFFY BUNNIES stupid. I can't express my hatred for having to verse against a twin UB team who stick together and spam spit. THere's nothing you can do. Nothing. Oak is probably the only character with any chance of surviving that dumb shit but the problem is that he is weak in the early game... and since UB is fast and controls the map, you dont get any creep kills. It's just FLUFFY BUNNIES rediculous. At first I didn't think UB was really that overpowered.... but wow, after the last couple of matches I've been in, it's been nothing but UB pairs. EveryFLUFFYBUNNIES darkness team I fight is a UB pair and they do the SAME thing everytime, spam spit and run, spam spit and run.... Oak can take on One UB fairly fine at mid level, but two? FLUFFY BUNNIES no.

That's horrible logic.  No single character should be able to take on any other 2 demigods (Unless of course the level or gear gap is pretty large).  It sounds like you need to work better with your partner.  I don't think they can have two spits stacked on you at once.

The best way to fight Unclean Beast is to make him fight on your terms.  Outrange him, drag him into bad situations, and don't just run in and expect to win a straight on melee fight against the most straight-forward melee character in the game.  Use teamwork and think outside the box.

Also, reported for language.

Yeah, I thought it seemed to happen too much to be coincidence.  Got quite a few matches that were 2 of one demigod vs 2 of another.  Personally don't like it as it takes some variety out.

Is it possible the high occurance of this is due more to the popularity of certain demigods, more than a matchmaking quirk? I've played several matches where both my partner and I were Regulus, but couldn't that just be because Regulus is quite popular? How many 2v2 matches have you encountered where it's Sedna-Sedna vs Queen-Queen?

You mean my partner should've worked better with me. I tried. He didn't talk, and on top of that he quit the game before either of us we're even past lvl 6 because the UB nubs kept spamming spit. And you obviously didn't undertsand my post. It is not "horrible logic" it's: Shield protects against spit, so once your shield cancels one UBs spit, the other simply spits on you again and now I cant use my shield for 30 secs. Keep in mind, at this point I'm fleeing. You're an idiot for thinking I would try taking on two Ubs as Oak. I was talking about already being in the process of fleeing.

Oak is not a long range character, he is a support class tank. Like I said, most of the time, at mid-late level, Oak can easily stand against an UB. What you don't understand yet again was that I was talking about early game flag capturing in which Oak is at his weakest and UB has a clear advantage because of speed, damage, and the OP spit.

The game I was in that mostly pisses me off was a domination game. Me and Reg versus Dual UBs. The Ubs obviously captured all the flags first. They are fast. So here I am chugging a long as Oak capturing the flags they havent captured yet and fighting off creep portals, when a UB appears spits on me... I use my shield, negating it's effect.... he comes back and then kills me. But since shield at level 1 or 2 only lasts for 3 secs with a long cool down I'm dead. He spits on me again because of the freaking overpowered cooldown time of spit. My partner is dicking around trying to snipe, which is pointless in early game since snipe is weak at first. He should've been using mines to fend of UB. On top of that my teamate wouldn't help me or work with me. And after this rince and repeat process of nothing but spit spamming us, my teammate leaves the game. So now I'm left with a braindead AI and versing two UB nub spit spammers. Nothing I can do. See, I can't level up to where Oak is effective, because the UB nubs are out there and will simply spit me dead, so I can't kill creeps. Everytime I tried getting a flag. SPIT/SHIELD...I retreat...he chases... I use pentinence to slow him down...hes still chasing oh and LO AND BEHOLD he's got spit back...SPITS on me... I'm dead. FUFFY BUNNIES that. NOTHING I could do. Couldn't level up, couldn't capture flags. Nothing. I'd just keep dying. I don't suck, but face it, you be in the same situation and I'd love to watch you try winning that bullshit game. It was domination, okay? Keep that in mind.

and why on earth did it just do a 2v1 match without an AI? was just me vs two humans...

It has a 1/4 chance of picking the same as you anyways since there are only 4 characters for it to choose from.  Of course that might be higher if players don't choose to play as all 4 equally.   But the point is it makes all the sense in the world that it's gonna give you identical characters often.

The better question is:  why is Pantheon 2vs2 now instead of 3vs3 like it used to be, or 4vs4?  Then this stuff won't matter so much.

An even better question is why does Pantheon pair you with horrible random strangers and then call that a 'tournament'? :|

I will have to think its all about getting people connected. 2v2 does have a much higher chance of getting all Humans to play.

That being said, me as UB and another guy as TB did get paired against 2 sednas... and yes it was painful for a while

Haha went into my first pantheon game today , and it places me in a 3v0, and placed me and another player who  both picked Erebus on the forces of light. I had the game since release, but avoided pantheon due to many people saying they got messed up matches. Seems like it was for good reason too, lol. Seeing as skirmish mode is messed up too now, if there are no decent custom games, there's really nothing.

I just had a 2v1 (I was the one) on Mandala (a 5v5 map) for domination...  is anyone really supposed to have a chance at winning with that?  I played several Pantheon games in the last tournament and I didn't wind up in a match as crazy as that one.

Well, at least it stopped restricting 2v2 to Crucible. I was getting very tired of that map...

I get twin TB all the time. We always win.

Except earlier it was twin TB vs twin Reg. The enemy had favor items and we didn't. Owned

Hey man. :P I admit, it does suck about the favor items. I could see how that might've been kinda unfair that mine was working and yours wasn't. I've run into the same problem a few times and it really is frustrating. Supposedly, the favor item thing was suppose to be fixed and you will gain favor as well as be able to buy items, but you wont be able to save your items to the database yet until a new patch.
