What's your favorite Favor Item to use?

What's your favorite Favor Item to use?

It's been two plus weeks since the release and now with the favor fix, most people should be gaining favor points to spend.  So this begs the question, which are most useful and why choose those items.

Torch Bearer - My top two:   The one that allows a -20% ability cooldown to maximize spell casting and the Aml. of Teleportation.  I only pick Aml. of Tele. when on large maps or on Dominate mode.  The -20% cooldown stacks with the -15% cooldown flags, effectively reducing rain of ice to 9 seconds or so from 14.  Pretty thrifty.

Regulus - Swift Anklet.  Pair it with the Boots of Speed and he can chase down anyone.

Wow people still use swift anklet? I never use it since regulus just needs 1 level of maim to be able to easily chase anyone down. Blade of Serp, Heavens wrath, and blood are the top 3. Horn and cloak for generals are pretty awesome too.

I love people using the swift anklet, you know which item they got the first time you've seen em and know exactly what you need to do against it.

By all means, keep picking it ;)

I'm starting to get down with the Crimson Vial.

blood of the fallen.  HP build for UB is sick with this.

I have actually fallen in love with the briliant bauble. That extra exp goes a long way early game. Since I mostly play oak, I *need* to level fast, so this item covers up a weakness of my build style. Plus, being a lvl or 2 up over the opponent throughout the game if it works well early game is nice!

teseer so far my rook build has lost twice out off 14 with the anklet

hm I am never fond of Swift Ankle and I have used from the early Charm of life to now Serpent of the blade. Will try Mard's hammer next for Regulus.

Cloak of Night.

The teleport makes up for less speed (if they run away, a tp+bite will slow them down just fine and maybe even a sleep).  The teleport is also good for getting out of bad situations when I'm out of mana or bat swarm is on cd (I don't use mist).  More base mana means more bites and more mana regen increases my base regen enough that the +mana regen % items are more useful.

1. cheaper favor items are mostly bit weaker than expensive ones...so ..not all can be compared...depends on your stage of development in the game

2. strengthen ur strength´s and weaken ur weakness   a lot of favor items come handy for such attempts

3. My FAVORite "Ring of Devine Might" on my Oakness

4. -10% cooldown on a sedna  ....she can have a 3,0 sec cooldown for heal and pounce....spaaaaam it

5. Mards Hammer on Rook, its mard inside rook and he maybe could need his hammer....sooo...

6. Blade of the Serpent on UB

...and so on....but yeah "Ring of Devine Might" owns on my minions   :D

I think my favourite overall item is probably Heaven's Wrath, it generates so much gold by grabbing assists and tagging creeps.

These are my favourite per-character

Regulus : Heaven's Wrath

Rook : Heaven's Wrath

Torch Bearer : Swift Anklet

Unclean Beast : Blood of the Fallen

Queen of Thorns : Cloak of the Night

Sedna :  Cloak of the Night

Lord Erebus : Horn of Battle

Oak : Blood of the Fallen

Horn of Battle

Mana Cost: 0
Range: Self
Casting Time: Instant
Cooldown: 45 Seconds
Use: Minions gain +200 Health Per Second for 10 seconds.
+10 Health Per Second For The Demigod

It's really great for taking down towers with just minions while you're off somewhere else.

aslong as u anit stupid like this reg plaayer who stacked  speed items tjhen reaklised speed sucked when your traped in your own base

hmm most off my builds dont use minions except the shop ones

I almost never take anklet.  Speed deficits are most noticeable when you are running away from a combat that you are losing.  Getting a favor item that lets you lose less combats is very often better. (Blood, Mards for instance).

The items that give AoE healing are both pretty decent, if used well. Nothing like an extra +1000 Health in burst every 45 seconds to help win battles... and when it effects allies too, it can be amazing.

Then keep using it. I look forward to playing against it.

rook needs the speed boost   because most people get boots of speed and rook already has a - on the speed  soo anklet makes up for it

Swift Anklet for TB

Swift Anklet Spit UB

Blood of the Fallen for Ooze UB

Rook most definately does not need a speed boost. Even with the anklet, every demigod is still faster than you and they will still catch you. I play rook all the time and hands down the 2 best items are blood of the fallen and the dark crimson vial.

nah anklet makes u faster then normal speed of demis speed boost adds a bit extra  and u are oviously a tower spammer who slowly advances and can't do shit without his towers

I use swift anklet for Oak. Coupled with penitence, I can usually get a first blood if my opponent hesitates.

Blood of the Fallen is far superior I agree. It is so amazingly easy for ANY enemy DG to have the speed advantage on you... even the anklet increases you to only 6.21, still slower than beast and erebus. And even one level in maim from regulus drops you down under his speed. Comparing that to an increase of 800 HP and a decent bit of regen... there isn't much comparison.

Don't try to chase people down, it probably isn't going to work anyway.

It is frustrating to die while trying to run away... or at least that is what my opponents tell me. :| Don't put yourself in the situation where you have to run.

Edit: Y'know, if you really want +25% speed, save the favor slot for something else, and just get a wand of speed, and learn to activate it with your non mouse hand. There's your speed right there, and you didn't have to use your one favor slot for it.
