Game causes computer to reboot when trying to launch any single player game

After selecting single player and starting a tournament the game finishes the loading screen then my computer reboots.

I am guessing that XP 64 is not supported.

Does anyone have any insight on this?

note: video drivers are the latest and mobo bios is latest as well

Steps taken:

Turned graphics to lowest settings. - still reboots

disabled all non-critical startup apps/services - loads game in lowest graphic settings but if you change the graphic settings the computer will reboot.

Anyone else running XP x64 ?

I would like to hear if anyone else has it running successfuly so I can decide if I need to set up a dual boot so I can play.

XP64 is not offcially supported, no. If you're getting an automatic reboot though, you're most likely getting a BSOD but have them disabled in your system settings. Toggling auto-reboot on BSOD will at least let you see the error and try to troubleshoot it.

Auto reboot is disabled.

There is no BSOD just a reboot.

No information in logs either (logging is enabled in the NVcontrol)

....and it's not a thermal issue.

 

Update:

I can get the game to run for about 20sec-1.5min now.

Then it reboots the PC.

Im beginning to wonder if this could be a sign that my power supply is not strong enough since I upgraded my cooling systems.

I suppose it is possible that my GPU is overdrawing the psu and the system hiccups and reboots.

I'll get a new PSU and update in a few days.
