I got a ATI video card

I doubt my video card changes anything for this particular problem but this is pretty frustrating.

 

Heres my problem; I got dual screen, i play alot of games: dota, far cry 2, fear 2 name them all (blockbuster games) and i decide to buy demi god cuz my friends play it so i got a 22" widescreen in front of me and to my left i got a 19". I play demi god for the first time and my mouse doesnt get lock into first screen. Im french so i dont know the proper way to say it but for exeample, im playin i move my mouse to the left and instead of moving the map, it goes to my second screen and if I ACCIDENTLY CLICK it makes me alt tab... That is pretty frustrating ive been playin demi god for 2 days and i really wonder why they didint even try demi god on a dual screen... (hello beta  ?! ?)  so... now i can only play by moving the screen constantly with AWSD but since im a huge dota player, i get all fucked up when i switch to dota so it makes me even more mad !!

 

Oh and btw theres prolly alot of post about it but the game crash so often... Ur multiplayer option is pretty lame (it takes forever for people to connect sometime) so i keep tabbing out to do something while waiting and imma be honest ... lets say 35% of the time, when i tab out, the game crash or theres a debug window that pops out and my game just crashed so... i know its been 2 weeks but for 50$ i was expecting more! I hope to get an update on my first problem at least, the second one i can understand.

It is more of a workaround than a fix, but you could set your 22" as primary and unclick 'extend my desktop tot his monitor' for the 19".

dude, every game lock the screen when maximized, im not gonna change my settings esp that i only play 2-3 hours a day of demi god

There is a well-known crash in the game if you are alt-tabbed away from Demigod when it connects to a multiplayer match and starts to load the game.  Stardock have NOT acknowledged this bug and are not currently working to fix it, according to their own blog posts.

Beyond that, to fix your first problem:

Either download a Mouse-lock program (google it), but that is annoying. . . OR go to the graphics options of Demigod and set it to play Windowed size.  And then maximize the window after you click apply (you don't select a resolution for windowed mode. . . it updates it for you whenever you resize the window!)

This way, Demigod behaves like regular windows. . . it still takes up your whole 22" monitor (it's mazimized), and if you click things on your 19" monitor, it doesn't minimize Demigod. . . it just moves the focus to that other window temporarily.

BEWARE:  the game will still crash if it connects to an MP game while you are clicked onto a window on your 19" 2nd monitor in this set up.  If the game is almost done connecting all players, click on Demigod until the game starts to load to be safe.

 

I know so much about this cuz I am in the exact same situation, except that my 2nd monitor is only 17" :(

download this program, it works for all windows, just set the game to window mode, then right click the icon in the system tray, then Specify window, Click the Demigod Window, and then use the hotkey to lock the mouse in it, it even goes off when u alt tab. :) i use this for Warcraft III in window mode :)

imma bump this till a developer from GPG answer and tell me he will fix this!

 

THIS IS TOTALLY UNACEPTABLE TO NOT BEING ABLE TO PLAY WITH A DUAL SCREEN LOCK THE GOD DAMN MOUSE WHILE IN GAME OR LEARN HOW TO DO IT

We are aware of the mouse cursor not locking in fullscreen mode. Until this is addressed, some other users have found that a utility such as Cursor Lock will help.

Honestly, don't change it. :P I don't *want* my cursor to lock, that's why I play in a window >_>

kryo, im not whining for nothing, ive try using the cursor program thing is, when i put the game on window mode and i use the cursor lock program, i still cant move the game by putting my mouse on the 4 edges for some reason, so im still stuck and need to use AWSD to move the screen and when i go to play dota im all fucked up but please fix it its all i want

ETA on a fix?  I can't believe in the stardock offices no one has a dual screen set-up and didn't see this issue well before release date.  Downloading some 3rd party bloatware onto my computer is BS!

Multimonitor Mouse Locking & Window Mouse Capture (though there has been a case where if you have msn notification pop up and you mouse go over it. you have to unlock the window with shortcut and relock it again. expereinced it when playing dota! hides my Skill Menu when Leveled. T_T") both work for Demi God. Tested & works fine.
when they patch the window mode with mouse locking they will do eventually (perhaps even with the unlocking choice)
and if you CAN be bothered then use "Ultramon" to handle you MultiMonitor instead of you Nvidia/ATI software.
And when you do use the Multimonitor Mouse Lock.
Under Shortcut Tab
Bottom half under Standard Option

Tick the box Lock Region and select from the drop box menu to Windows Interior

and this should fix the problem. your mouse will nicely be inside the window and wont go above to Title bar at all.

Though Mouse Capture preferably the simple one would do it anyhow instead the complex Locking one.
