would really like to do something besides 2v2...or will i always have to resort to a custom game? Or am I just getting unlucky and everyones doing 4v4 but me?
Yes. After they fix connection issues. Team pantheon is coming. Just wait.
there is already the rare 3v3 and 4v4. But they system seems to love 2v2 so 99% of games seem to be assigned those.
man thats all I have gotten tonight is 4v4 and 3v3. I hate doing 4v4's vs AI, just wanna end it quickly.
The biggest game I've gottne so far is a 3v3...and that was a custom match. In Pantheon it's always 2v2...well sometimes 1v1 
In Skirmish I've gotten 5v5 matches...but the majority of the Demigods are AI in those situations.
It seems to me in the first week it was mostly 3vs3 or 4vs4 (IIRC) but then it seems like they patched it to be exclusively 2vs2 since then. But this is a bit hard to be sure about since they don't relase the patch notes AFAIK (dev journal posts are not patch notes).
I'd be surprised though if they didn't already stealth patch Pantheon to be 2vs2 exclusively.
But whatever the reason, forced 2vs2 in Pantheon sucks really badly. They need to put it back to 3vs3 and 4vs4.
Cool Me i got a couple of 1 +3AI vs 1 +3AI, then never tried again..
