I'm finding today I can't get past the multiplayer logon screen. Soon as I click multiplayer then online the game immediately just freezes, pukes and dies.
Single player works fine... this only just started today... anyone else?
me and 2 friends have the same problem. When we try to login game crash or we get a invalid passwor message. 10 min ago we were connected without problem.
Same issue, only it takes ages to open up the login screen, then says my username or password is incorrect (and I know they aren't). But everything you do or click in the multiplayer screen takes ages (going to Internet and then when Logging in)
Sounds like the login/authentication servers are down. This can happen at a couple points:
1) They are updating the game.
2) They created a problem when they last updated the game.
3) Server Crash for random reason.
It should be up shortly. Give them a bit.
Also try spamming chat instead of mb. The chat usually has dev logged in and will lead to faster resolution or reply on an important issue like this.
I played the beta update, yesterday, for hours, and there were no problems whatsoever.
Suddenly, from 10:15 to 10:30 PM (Eastern), I could not enter a game anymore.
I got 2 debug-error windows in a row!
I exited the game programme, and when I wanted to log-in back, I was not able to be identified.
I exited the programme and tried again. That time, I could log in, but trying to join a game got me another debug-error window.
Strange beta update : I could play it for hours without any issue, and abruptly, during 15 minutes, I encountered 4 failures.
I went to bed to read : Neuromancer, by William Gibson. I think Fate fixed things for the better.
(The failures were too bad, because I wanted to join a game with JinxOfSin : it would have been a treat to play with such a good gamer.)
