Hello,
I've played over 50 successful multiplayer games without technical problem, and 1 52 minute game this morning. However during my last two games my graphics driver (up to date) has crashed requiring a reboot. I'm running a GeForce 8800. Has anything changed in today that could cause this?
sounds like your GPU might be getting a tad too warm.
do you have any programs to watch the GPU temperature? RivaTuner is a nice little program that will do that, if you don't already have one.
Interesting you should mention that...I was having a similar problem with my 8600M GT. I checked the Nvidia site and there were new drivers released a few days ago (April 30th). I'm using those and the crashing seems to have gone away. For now, anyhow.
If you haven't checked for drivers in the last few days, it couldn't hurt to recheck. Maybe it'll help?
I also downloaded the new 8800 GTS drivers and now its crashing. whats going on...
If you weren't crashing before, I would strongly recommend rolling the new driver back if you haven't already.
