Sedna's speed bug.

I think i found a bug, not sure if it was reported before.

With Inner grace 3 she gets a 0.9 speed boost. With speed anclet she gets another 0.9. That totals at 7.8. With fathers ring totals to 8.7.

When u get hit by a slow effect spell 0.9 speed gets removed.  I dont know if you loose the talent speed effect or from the anklet.

I know 100% is not from the ring so that tells me it might not be from the anklet also since they are both items.

Its most probably from her talent. Seems like when u get hit by a slow effect you loose the bonus from inner grace.

 

Someone else can test this also?

At the end of the match your stats are boosted for some reason. Ignore that 14 that you see, look at the small bottom right side window that says 7.8 where it should say 8.7

You're right. I checked it out a while ago as I thought there was something weird going on, and there's some speed component not working quite right.

Good catch, I'd noticed the speed was squiffy sometimes but could never catch the cause.

penitence, bite, claws so far.

 

As for the game version it means the bug is there atleast since that version. And it was never reported or was said anything about it in any patch notes.

Anyway, finally got around to thoroughly testing with the latest version and there's definitely a bug with inner grace (the +move and +hp regen skill):

 

Tested against penitence, claws, maim and TB's frost aura with inner grace + anklet and just inner grace alone and the movement speed recovers normally. So, sorry steel-blade, my tests don't match. I can't recreate instances of slows breaking the movement speed increase.

 

BUT she will lose her +15% speed bonus from inner grace when the "life's child" skill activates (end of the heal tree - gives +50hp regen when you drop under 30% max hp). Tested on a completely empty map by just getting beat up by towers and with no items. I couldn't test properly but I get the feeling you lose the HP regen from inner grace at the same time, like the buff is completely wiped off. You can only get the speed bonus back afterwards by dieing (or maybe leveling up the inner grace skill again, I'd already maxed in testing so I couldn't try).

 

So yeah, looks like it might be some kind of conflict between those two self buffs for some reason.

 

Oddly, inner grace is one of the only self buff skils that doesn't show a buff icon over your health bar whether it's working or not. Just a slightly related oddity.

Life's Child has :

BuffType = 'HSEDNAINNERGRACE'

so it replaces the inner grace buff...

They're pixels big, and I don't even see mine unless I actually look. How are they annoying? If anything I'd prefer as many icons for any situation they're applicable. Theres just too much information in them that you don't have to keep track of otherwise.

He is still trying to help. I am sure the bug still exists in the current version since all the updates have only been for net code.

Yup, it looks like Life's Child crushes Inner Grace, which is certainly uncool. Going on the fix list, and big thanks for sorting this one out.

Permament single buffs like Inner Grace, God Strength, and Inner Beast don't show icons. Self buffs that are temporary or conditional will let you know they're active.

lol.  Who cares if they are pirates or not they just uncovered a bug.    pirates don't get updates and we do.  so let them live their life and live yours.
