Unhandled exception while connecting after dl

When I want to connect to a custom game it takes a long time and then i get an unhandled exception !

EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at address 0x77a8dbba
attempted to write memory at 0x00000014

Program : C:\games\Demigod\bin\Demigod.exe
Cmd line arguments :

Callstack:
    RtlDeleteAtomFromAtomTable + 702 bytes ((Unknown)(0) + 0 bytes)
End of quote

Anybody knows how to solve this ?

When I want to do a skirmish game, it never connects.
I'm behind a router, maybe that's the problem.
I opened the ports that were necessary.

Hope anybody can help me out here ... I really want to play

I would get this all the time after the beta patch. What I did was run ImpulseReactor options and set the ports from 6002 -6200, then enabled port forwarding on the whole series. The thing that I found wierd was that even before I had set it to use 6002 -6200 I had it set to portforward 6100 -6200. Only after I noticed that I was connecting alot on port 6073 did I change it, And I have never had the problem since.

So, I would try setting impulse reactor options to hit ports 6002 - 6200 and set up your port forwarding for the same ports.

Worked for me, Hope this helps.

hello,

What tool do you use to see what ports the program is using ?  Because it doesn't seem to work

I have vista.

In your demigod bin folder is a program titled ImpulseReactorOptions.exe

This will show you what ports you are using and let you assign custom ports for your NAT port range..

I do not reccommend changing these to anything beyond the values of 6002 and 6200.
