Not everyone downloads the Beta patch - which is why your seeing a smaller amount of games. This isn't a problem with the patch, it's to be expected when they label something 'Beta'.

I too am having difficulties with this patch, however Frogboy did mention that this patch could cause users more pain than good until the proper update is released on Thursday (Friday for us Australians). I made a thread about the Beta causing me issues and warned other users to stay away from it if their game is basically working ok. If Friday's patch doesn't fix anything for me, I'm just about out of ideas on how to get this game working.

the gane works if one person connects at a time..i just tried it but if 2 3 4 5 6 ppl try to connect it hangs on connection screen no one will connect epic fail. never had this problem with original release these patches are making it worse

it did get faster but it has the same problems though

also just finally played a first game since the beta patches, the connectivity screen does pop up but the players still drop out it doesnt fix the problem it just shows whos gonna drop out now

good one and why are you still replying to this thread if u dont care. or are you just so ignorant and oblivous to all the problems many others are sharing. i never felt the frustrations that these other players who havent been able to play the game since day one untill they started patching the game and progressivley it got worse. i then decided to try the beta since it would attempt to "fix" problems i was having but uhhh no. oh btw your legendary company was supposed to release these fixes almost a week ago now...then it got pushed back to monday then pushed back again. the game has potential i never said it didnt but im losing my confidence in the game and the company. and this is coming from some one who generally says "wait it out its a new game it will be fixed soon" but this is getting ridiculous to the point its nearly not playable 1 out of 4 attempts is a success is not good odds. and once again i put this game off to the side untill the next "fix"

im almost getting tired of waiting for the "fix" many others are well as u see the more and more negative threads being posted, and the reason for this is the gameplay is awsome, how ever it is a multiplayer game and the MP is not working for most still to this point. the expectations were high and people were let down plain and simple. my hopes are set on this next patch as well if it doesnt fix it ill probly join the i want my refund band wagon.

Dude, get a refund, gtfo, and stfu. Because if you listen very closely... very closely... you can hear... the sound of no one giving a crap. No one gives a crap that you think Stardock is stupid, or Azrail is stupid (both of which I find false). This "fix" is going to take time, and if you and your ADD-addled generation of tweens can't wait, then don't. No one cares.

But more importantly, from your post I seriously believe that you probably could play the game if you ever learn to use your brain and learn to port forward. But then again, I'm kind of reluctant to share the "secret" of how to make Demigod work online because then you will probably be those tweens populating this forum with "NERF X!!!!!!!" while happily feeding the other team and wondering why you are constantly getting killed.

Okay, I apologize for the second paragraph. Get a refund.

A quick CTRL+F of ports and port both resulted in nothing except for my post and your post.

i didnt say i didnt care abou this thread, i didnt say u should not be mad about the connection problems, all i said is that u you cleary did not read all the develpoment posts or decided to ignore them. bitching about stuff that has been acknowledged/ been talked about by the devs might make you feel better, but it makes for a piss poor waste of a thread, special in general discussion.

this is funny i almost read all of it then i realized by doing so i was just slowly getting more retarded by reading your post. this was never about port forwarding but if you want to bring it to that please do because im sure i understand the concept far better then you. i had my ports forwarded before most of the people here even knew they needed their ports forwarded thanks to monks guide. how ever during beta a dev team posted on here saying what ports to forward and that the impulse reactor was being added to configure the game to those ports etc etc... but if you read the post you would of read the game was working fine before the new "fixes" im sure you coulda figured it out but since your tiny mind needs me to explain everything i will break it down for you.

now on the other hand i never said stardock was stupid, just said people were losing confidence in the game.

i was in the same place most of u were about 1 week ago i was posting "forward your ports" "configure firewalls" etc etc... the games not broken it works fine for me...how ever the game is broken or they wouldnt be fixing it duh?! you dont realize what other people are going through untill you start experiencing their problems. even if u take all the steps needed to connect it still fails not all the time but probly 30% of the time. or some one drops out losses connection mid game. thanks to the NAT
