Looking for DG Pros

2:2, 3:3, 4:4

I'm looking for some quality opponents.

After realizing that noobs leave the second they die like public dota I started hosting with "teams only" or "premades" hoping that teams would join and provide a close game, but all that did was end up being the same shit except instead of leaving the game when they died they kept feeding until the game was over. I've only had the game 2 weeks and there are a ton of things I learn every day so I am in no way saying that I'm a pro at DG, but I'm tired of the terrible competition in this game and I've yet to lose a game or even come close to it.

If you have a team and you're tired of playing vs bad people shoot me a PM if you want some organized games. I usually play 2:2 but a couple more friends just picked the game up and we could probably 3:3 or 4:4 if they are on.

My group is in the US, but I honestly believe that playing EU isn't a bad thing. We played vs a couple guys from finland in a series of 5 games and there was no lag what-so-ever. I think computer quality is a cause for most lag in this game... i.e. people w/ bad computers trying to play w/ full graphics.

We'll play anyone.

I've played you... I'm pretty sure you were QoT and I'm thinking your teammate was the UB who got too close to the tower and eaten alive by the 25% snare proc favor item, but I could be wrong... but i'm like 99% sure i'm not. I'll rematch though!

Demigod Pro?

Professionals get paid. I don't think anyone gets paid to play Demigod except for the QA zombies. Good luck finding those "pro's" because I don't believe they exist.

radom team mates suck ass most of the time

Anyone in here can feel free to add me if they want to play with/against a good Reg/Rook/Ereb or a really good Oak. I'm still learning the other ones but I can trump most people with those so far.

Oh yeah my name is NotJack

I don't mind playing against noobs so much (although it can be boring), but I DO mind having noobs on my team. I can't tell you how many players I've had pop in and start asking how to do such and such. When I ask if they even tried one game in single player mode they ask "why would I do that?" Of course, my side loses because the noob hasn't learned that towers can kill you insanely fast and keeps feeding the opposition...>_>

Add me and Tiny4Ever

we are always looking for good matches. I have a crew of about 10 or so who play off and on and I really want to get some private games going.

Maybe we should make an IRC room, forum or vent?

I dont have a designated teammate (unfortunately my RL friends who play this dont seem interested enough to play against tougher opponents).  I am trying to get a team going and until then would be happy to fill a slot if you have an odd number of players.  Yes, I can hold my own; I played league/clan war Dota for years.

@ iPhire

I would be down for helping get a "good or at least enthusiastic" player community started if you and others are interested (i.e. channel, forums, league, w/e).  I know there are some IRC channels, but I havent played with them yet.  A lot of the beta testers seem to like to turn their noses up at us retail folks (well, maybe just me) so it might be prudent to get something else started.

Does anyone have some server space or know a vent server we could use?

@ Everyone

Just for reference, here are all the places I have found that people claim the good players play:

#demigod-live on irc.stardock.com - This could be private but they seem to like to invite anyone to come play (get owned by beta testers).

http://www.esl.eu/eu/demigod/1on1/ladder/ (but 1v1? eh...)

and of course Game Ranger which gets a lot of mixed reviews but apparently has better connections and lots of pirates.

Pros = dota 12 year olds... please ask for players that aren't noobs. Leave the "PROS" for dota...

You can also visit www.demigod-live.com

We have a pretty good noob avoid list already

Do i smell some DG eletism around here? You know that this is how DOTA eletism started, right?

Anyway, it's inevitable, but i'm just saying...

I don't have a team mate, but I don't just 'keep feeding' my opponent; in fact, I've been around since early beta and I'm a decent -- not great, but above the average -- player.  Of course, part of that is that no one plays a "Smash Rook", so no one knows how to beat me.

Feel free to look me up, I'm not online too much because of the connectivity issues (I'm one of the peoples whose connectivity went from 'fine' to 'bad' to 'worse' with the patches...) but I always enjoy a good game.

ROOOOK SMAAAAAASH!
