will i lag?

Hello

I have been waiting to get my retail copy of Demigod, i was told by my local gamestop that it was going to be released EU the 7th...but today i went to buy it and it seems it has been pushed towards the 29th.

Thing is though...I CANT WAIT. I really wanna play it as soon as i can....so i am thinking of buying the digital copy. My only concern is, as you can see from my title, will i lag if i play with mostly americans? I believe theres not gonna be many EU folks around without a retail copy for us just yet.

I do want to play Online as soon as possible, but i dont want all my games to lag and enter a rage and hate this game for the rest of my life...if you know what i mean.

So...provided that todays patch does fix all the connectivity issues and all that stuff, will i be able to play normally from Sweden?

Note: By internet speedtest.net...it says that my Download speed and upload speed are 3.10 Mb/s and 0.74 M/bits respectively with a 267 ms ping towards New York.

Will that be enough? Thanks!

Most of the custom games are EU based. It is getting tough to find a US based custom game.

Yes, I live in the US, and have got the digital copy. My first 2 games were against russian opponents. With the beta, with the direct connect ports open, the game was definitely playable.

Im in America and I have had no issues with lag using direct connect to european hosts.

 

I believe the game simulates 350 ping to begin with, and I've never had over that when connected to a European host, so the reverse should be true to you.
