Laptop

I don't mean to start a flame war or attack anyone.

I just want to put out that there are a large amount of laptop-based gamers who would be interested in this game. I am one of them. I was very disapointed that I couldn't run it.

I don't know what all it would take to make it laptop friendly, but I'd just like to ask that you consider it.

Game runs great at max settings on my PC.  Game runs decent at minimum settings on my laptop.  TBH i was surprised it ran on the laptop in the first place.

Of course they're always going to look for ways to make the game more friendly for lower end systems, but there are limits.  It has nothing to do with it being a Desktop or a Laptop, it's the specs that count.

I also run it on my laptop about 50% of the time. The game is laptop-friendly as long as your laptop can live up to the specifications of the game.

What kind of laptops are you running? I thought all, if not most, ran the video-something or other that Demigod did not support.

The game should run fine on the Lower/Medium setting on your laptop with its native resolution. If you look at the performance of the 8600, its about the same as the 7900GT(desktop version) if I recall correctly. The 7900GT can run Supreme Commander at Medium specs(1440x900 resolution). Supcom uses the same engine as Demigod.

Edit: if its an M8600 GS forget about running the game. If its an M8600 GT then it should run on the minimum setting, I compaired the mobile version of the 8600 a bit too much with the desktop version of the 8600.

man, if this game would run on a Geforce4 440 Go I'd be a LOT happier. No matter how ugly it might get! Can't afford a new laptop right now :P
