New Demigod: Deathknight

He will be a general and an assassin combined.

 

He can summon gargoyles that fly, and ghouls from dead creeps. Gargoyles independently can DPS as much as a regulus, with ghouls able to pounce and stun.

 

His abilities revolve around sticking to targets and melee'ing them to death with insane auto attack. Skills include slow, stun, and a move where he pulls the DG to himself. This last skill will have a voice clip of scorpion exclaiming, 'Get over here!'

 

He will also have more base HP than Rook, with survivability comparable to queen of thorns.

 

He gets 15% movement speed.

 

He starts at level 15.

 

At level 16, he gets a skill called 'faceroll.' Does 10,000 damage to any DG at any point on the map.

 

His appearance will be like that of Javva the Hutt.

 

100% chance of fucking up WoW balance with retarded hero classes!

Maybe this should be in off-topic but I do find it kind of funny.

I'm a big Blizzard fan but I have to admit the way they introduced and structured DK's in WoW was pretty out of whack. Even the Death Knight of WC3 had its overpoweredness.

I guess the reason I thought it funny is because it seems like such a common refrain to add purely "Evil" playable characters and such as it is ever popular to play the archetype. The problem is that for some reason, the guy always seems overpowered no matter where you find him. And because people like being evil and overpowered, these kinds of toons get way, way overplayed and throw everything out of whack.

But then again, I kind of think Erebus is DG's Death Knight as it's the same archetype and shares the whole "life drain and raise acolyte" thing. I wouldn't be surprised he gets nerfed a bit w/ the first round of balance patches.

OP is still funny imo.

I think I've seen Extacide in some scuffles on these boards but I don't understand the animus toward him in this thread.

And really, are we here to get away from WoW and DoTA, or are we here to get away from the corrosive atmosphere and mean spiritedness that infests the Blizzard entertainment gaming community? And if we don't like the meanness of prior communities why stoke it here?

Well, as for me, I just wanted to try out this new tactical RPG/RTS and play some good games.
