Solving very bad FPS

I read the threads here about updating software drivers for sound cards / bios and video card..

Solution...

Turn Sound quality to low

Turn OFF reverb

Then see if it improves your game

has for me :)

Yeah, it worked somewhat for me, too. It worked until I got into late game and there were more reinforcements, so I had to update my drivers anyways. Now everything runs perfect.

Yep if you have bad fps I would suggest grabbing the beta turn reverb off and sound low and that will resolve it if its a sound issue :)

I have done this, and yet my sim speed is still quite low :/

With the new beta version that was released on Friday as well? If not, you might want to try out the beta version or wait for Monday for the full release of that version.

If the sound isn't the issue, then I would suggest sending in a support ticket.

This is something to give the devs a aiming point at tracking finding and eliminating this bug. The reverb must have some loop (infinite) that is running down the processors on the sound cards.

I have a 1995 Audigy gamer (very first one) in my machine (yes its still working ><  and never had an issue.

Turn reverb on and FPS drops to 0-3 fps.

So Stardock devs !! comment on this and seek this bug out
