Please remove the 30 second time-out window

Please remove the 30 second time-out window, too many people are pulling the plug at the end of the game to exploit the stat bug, and it's insulting to have to sit and wait for 30 seconds at the end of the game. Fix the stat bug or remove the window.

before the beta patch, i think timeout was 5 seconds or less.   this beta patch, 30 seconds is way too long.  I think 15-20 seconds is good.

Well under the right circumstances its acceptable, but to have to sit and wait because some guy on the losing team decides to pull the plug so his game wont count is unacceptable.

Disconnect needs to equal a loss, period.

people need to fix their sim speed first

lol <3

I'm not talking about anything to do with sim speed, I'm talking about blatant plug pulling between the Citidel falling and the score popping up to avoid stat loss.

Dont remove the window. Just change it so that when someone willingly ends their game the 30-sec time out window doesnt apply. Surely that can be accomplished.

Agree. I have played a 5vs5 game and when it was clearly won by one side, loosers just left one after the other.

So 30s waiting + 30s waiting + 30s waiting +...

I for one, love the 30 seconds to reconnect.

Thanks to Comcast and their shitty performance, the 30 seconds allowed me to finish a game.

However, 30 seconds for people who obviously have rage quitted; I'm not so happy.

EDIT: NEVERMIND, I take back the love. This 30 seconds do no reset. So you will have total of 30 seconds time to reconnect in a say, 40 minutes game. If you got shitty internet or play in shitty internet hour, forget demigod for now.

The problem is that it's triggering when people exit the game.  It should only be for blips in the connection.

Maybe a lower timeout(like 5s) when there's a continuous interruption?

yea, that sounds better
