Just a quick one, can we please have added to the mini map the ole' N, S, E and W. It's kind of hard to say "Need help on left" with a fully rotateably camera, it would be much easier to say "Need help on East". Just a thought, thanks.
Yeah I totally agree. I was pretty surprised to find out that not everybody plays like I do (My citadel closest to me, their citadel directly ahead.)
tbh a rotating minimap is a pain in the butt 
i agree with N,S,E,W idea if there isnt an option to stop rotating the minimap
A non-rotating minimap is a good idea, i have been cought out going to the wrong side of the map a few times
Sorry to bump an old thread, I was just curious if there was any offical word on this? I'm still finding it a little difficult to gauge which direction people mean when they say "Ok, take left".
Agree this is needed. People always say they need help at the flag on the left or something, and I'm sitting there with the flags on the top and bottom (and the citadels on the left and right) so Rook doesn't block my view of a lane. Usually I play with the enemy base at the bottom through.

so SD/GPG... better get that modding out fast so we can actualy fix the UI (since our cries for help always go unanswered)
Things like this are so basic it amazes me how they were not implemented when the game came out.

Well it's not that hard to take the second to look at the map and figure out where your teammate is and where he needs help. But yes, a compass would be a nice small feature to have.
A compass in a rotable or non-rotable minimap would be a very good improvement. ( Who cares if the minimap auto-rotatates or not if you have reference points of the map for your self and MP mates ). Good point ( again )
Actually, it's more for those situations where you've rotated the camera and weren't tracking the entire enemy team and your team mate says "TB Coming right". Which right does he mean? And how do you know he hasn't rotated his camera and his right is your left?
