Heaven's Wrath

This item sucks. It can only kill creeps, and the only beenfit it has over normal attack is range, but you don't get XP/gold for the kills, so there's no value to it at all. You can't even kill general minions with it, the best use I can think of. The damage badly needs increase or the CD decrease.

if you cant find a good situation to use it I suggest you dont use it :)

ehm you get the xp and money (unless this was changed very recently), Last hit trumps range limitation.

We played a 3v3 on prison the other day and two of us had Wrath. Item was awesome. Guys would start to run and get past there towers and when they thought they were safe you just shoot it down where you predict they will be and BOOM! Goodnight. We annihilated some of these people with this thing. As far as I remember we were getting the kills counted too. Cuz I know my friend had mentioned that I stole his kill and it had counted on my kill count. Anyway I think a team with three of these is brutal especially early game. The other item that I think is underated is Magical Coin Purse. I mean... just to put it in perspective. Ashkandor is only 15 and change with that item. Crazy.

After the other team got Priests, using Heaven's Wrath won me the game with effectively endless XP.

Heavens Wrath is awesome. Gives XP and Gold from anywhere on the map. You can effectively farm two lanes at the same time.

I played a 3v3 where the enemy had 2 regs with 2 heavens wrath. we got owned.

heavens wraith it good for farming but i hate  noobs who use it to ks come on it is fucking rediculous  u get them all the way down then a that uses it and kills your prey

I think the Heaven's Wrath needs serious nerfs.  It can instant kill the minotaurs and archers from the start of the game from anywhere on the map.  Even though the item claims to do 250 damage the creeps will die when they land back on the ground or fall off the map.

You certainly DO get exp for the kills.

The imbalance is that it's only available for assassins.  In fact, there's three awesome assassin-only items (Poison Dagger, Staff of Renewal, Heaven's Wrath)

poison dagger is meh. perhaps you meant Blade of the Serpent, which is awesome.

Poison dagger is good probably ONLY for UB.  Even then the anklet is probably still a safer choice, but it is most of the time anyways....

but you don't get XP/gold for the kills,

The best thing about Heavens wrath is that you get more xp and gold then your opponent.

I think this thing really needs a range limitation. Being able to farm a lane on the opposite side of the map just through this is really ridiculous.

You can also use it like a 250 damage Snipe, or to help a teammate drive off an enemy DG by dropping their opponent by 250 HP more then they were expecting.

Yeah but.. that's the whole point.  That's pretty much all you can do with it besides snipe a fleeing demi for a pretty miniscule sliver of health.

people are saying you get all the xp for using heavens wrath no matter where on the map you use it.  Other people say you dont.   You do get xp from using it but im pretty sure there is a caveat there someplace I dont remember getting full xp from it.

its being used effectively against you doesnt mean its over powered.   I can think of better favor items for TB, UB and even Rook.   Its just a nice fit for Regulus.

oh and poisoned dagger most definitly isnt meh.

You definitely get both XP and gold, unless you fail to kill the creeps. I checked, right in the .lua code: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/354382/page/1/#2234971

I don't know how effective that really is though, with 390 creep HP and 250 damage. Mabye somebody who tried this already can give some feedback.

Also get citadel XP upgrades and watch your level farming increase very sweet

its very nice with regulus, if you play two assassins with a friend, both having heavens wrath and universal gadgets a coordinated attack can be very fun!

also when you see an enemy demigod is about to die you can easily make sure to get some gold too, careful though to not get the last hit, some ppl might whine about ksing (looks at s1foo) :P

PS: the moment heavens wrath is used the fog of war in that area is revealed for a moment, just perfect to get in a snipe if you dont have tracking bug yet (make sure to aim it ahead, even though the item description says it's an instant cast, there is a 0.5 sec animation before it hits!)

Heaven's Wrath:

This items DOES give your Experience points for kills.

Can kill a fleeing Demigod under 250 health.

It's very powerful, if not too powerful.

It only gives XP for kills though, not if you only dent the creep and someone else kills it.

IMO, As regulus it's pretty good for picking off newbs/fighting a winning battle. Howevr, if your opponent is equally matched and coordinated, that's 15% move speed you're giving up (I'm assuming you get anklets which I can't live without). So when UB and vamp come running your way and you can't get away and it gets you killed that's $$$ to the enemy and a ton of exp.. since you're higher level <_<. You'll end up playing it safe.. and running early, effectively forcing you out of a lane.. end of the day.. i'd rather just stay in my lane and farm 1 lane safely and be able to run when I need to and chase as well. Besides, most maps there aren't as many lanes as DGs, so it's not like the exp is 'going to waste'.

I can only assume you haven't run into any triple assassin premade teams smart enough to coordinate their Heaven's Wrath.  It is an extremely decisive item in the early game in that situation.  Most opponents will stay in the fray at lower levels until they are well with the kill range of 3 of these at once.  It has won me more then a few games.

Obviously you need a voice chat option to organize this, but in my opinion, for winning early encounters decisvely, there is no superior item.

Even if you do not get the kill, once the opponents realize this is part of your strategy it will signficantly change how they play and allow you push lanes much more efficiently.

EDIT: I just wanted to add I am also of the opinion that this item may be a bit too strong with well-organized teams.  Particularly in 3v3+ you can do an instant 750 or 1000 damage straight on from level 1, anywhere on the map.
