getting error when joining battles

Hi

Im very new and I wanted to play online with a friend. BUT everytime I try to join a custom game my loading screen freezing after a while actually the whole game freezing and i get kicked to desktop with an error report. I can host matches without any problems. Is this a common problem and is there a solution?

I got this problem many times today when I tried joining, I get some stupid window pop up that says something like 'exception excess violation' and I have to abort the program.

I actually did not get this message that often before, a few months ago, I don't know what happenned.
