It's nice to see Erebus got a nerf.

It's nice to see Erebus got a nerf.

He needed it. It's obvious a serious imbalance was in place if erebus was the only character to get a nerf in the new update. XD

Chaosnaska's whiny bitch ass just got owned.

Pantheon might be a bit more enjoyable now, less Erebus nubs.

Quoting si1foo, reply 24i use  for tb when fighting a  qot fireball taking down the first one firenova  then rain off ice then frostnova then back to fireball again then a little dps dmg if she is still alive then ill do fire nova and maybe a fb if she is running

fb has 4 sec recast

ice has 10 i think

fire nova 10i think

frost nova i think is 15

Congratulations. You've done about 2.5 k damage in 10 seconds. I just regened 1000 with sedna and healed the remaining 1500 for about 600 mana. Or with QoT you broke my shield, which I quickly replaced. You have not yet broken the second one. If somehow there were two of you doing a total of 5k damage in 10 seconds, she could just eat one of her minions for an extra 2500 health, she's at full health and has expended about 1.5k mana only.

You've accomplished nothing.

TB in particular is BAD late game which you would need to have in order to have these skills anyway. He, just like Erebus, must take advantage of levels 4-12 when they are very powerful. And even at those levels they cannot deal with a defensive player such as Sedna or QoT. Hell, anyone with a HoL can just disengage from combat, heal fully, and come right back in, assuming they weren't dumb enough to get into a situation where they would definitely die to Erebus (or TB).

Also, your cooldown numbers are way off.

dude u oviously  spent more time typing then  actual test  it does work  the  dmg oon fb is 1050  i said 2 off them that makes 2100 rain of ice is about 1000

3100 firenova  does i think 600 dmg  at max

3700  not counting the dmg  done by normal attack and the fact she couldn't heal from here creeps because she would be frozen in the frost nova for 3 secs

you hav never thought a build like the one i use and my build works very well  except if your teamates keep feeding

That is true. I have noticed both TB/Erebus excelling in early game, which can help their late game if they get enough demigod kills to afford some nice artifacts/gear fast enough. However, playing as Erebus, if the other team is not giving up kills easily and can keep my gear selection down, when the late game arrives it becomes very difficult to engage them successfully thanks to different characters abilities and stats scaling.

The only thing I would  contend is that in the early game, a decent Erebus can kill/push a average/good sedna off a flag, unlike UB/TB/QoT where i notice my partners often cannot win the attrition battle with her in the early game, though if she pops a small potion toward the end and the Erebus cannot match and has exceeded mana, its likely over for him.

Okay, if you do another fireball that's an extra 1050 damage. (Rain of Ice does 800, not 1000). So what? Still can't compete late game.

I have a build similar to yours when I play TB, except I use deep freeze late game for extra 1k damage and buff fb to 1350. Technically, mine has better damage output than yours. I know the damage I deal is crap late game, and you need to realize it too. 350 dps is just crappy, especially considering that in 10 seconds a late game QoT or Sedna is going to eat you alive, even with the 3 second stun.

It's not, sorry. Skill based damage dealers are universally weak late game.

Really? I lost a game to a very good lategame TB player with very high armor/health and nuking abilities.....he pushed hard into our base and beat us.

The Stormbringer is the only real way to increase caster damage late game (it reduces cooldowns).

The damage difference is massive between the autoattack heroes like Regulus/UB and the skill damage heroes like TB.  But the key is you can still deal decent damage and keep the debuffs on while your teammates clean up.

he is so right a sythion your a noob  my build holds out for ages and it tends to take 2 demis to kill me   and my dmg out put is through the roof

and skill based is only weaker if u have 2 attack skills  if u have more then  2 then  as long as u keep usig them ur fine  for dmg output

i do over 400 dmg  late game too without aritfact items

First off, TB is pretty good at pushing late game. He was talking about hero killing specifically.

Second, If you couldn't deal with TB late game you deserved to lose to anyone.

When discussing the power of your build, please stop adding things like "you're a noob if you can't do this" it discredits your argument.  People will always look at your strategy with the assumption that a competent player is performing it.

Similar deal with directly your arguments at particular people, 'you NNNN are SPECIFICALLY a noob because your build does not work because you can't play the game well" does not make people want to listen to you, it makes them think you're an asshole.

Perhaps you missed the subtle difference between saying "I believe you are incorrect, torch bearer IS able to kill in late game" and saying "You are a terrible player, and the only reason YOU can't get kills with torch bearer late game is because you are stupid and a bad person"

TB can kill late game, but he has to be facing opponents stupid enough to let that happen.
