Favor points and online play

I'm unsure how Favor points work, or if I'm dealing with a bug. After playing a bit of single player, I was finding that I was keeping my favor points, and if I spent them on a favor item, I kept that item, even for future game use without needing to re-purchase it with additional favor points.

Going online to play, I often find even though I earn X amount of favor, it isn't always avaliable next game, though I'm not too concerned with this and assume it is a bug that'll be worked out. However, if I buy a favor item, that item is gone the next game and so is the favor points. Do you not get to keep your favor items once you purchase them in multiplayer?

I thought this was supposed to be fixed now?

Are you sure the favor item is not marked as "purchase"? You might have to open up the favor item menu and click the items again game to game. . .  but once you buy them, you shouldn't have to buy the item all over again.

I haven't played for quite a few days. I have been waiting on the pacth(es). And, now I am covered up with work but i am keeping an eye on the forums to gadge how the patches are coming along.

My understanding was that favor items and favor points were supposed to be fixed in the latest patch.

Favor is badly broken at the moment. It is supposed to be fixed by the next GPG patch (not the SD patch). Expect it to work normally in the near future.
