Is /skipintro working?

After patching to 1.00.0113 I tried adding the line /skipintro to my Demigod shortcut on the dekstop. I assume that this is done by adding the text (/skipintro) after the last quote in the "Target" line of the shortcut. In other words, make it look like this:

"C:\Program Files\...\Demigod.exe" /skipintro

Is this how it's added?

If so, it isn't working for me. When I launch via this shortcut, nothing noticable happens any differently. I still am presented with the intro movies (I know that I can hit ESC at the first one, but the point of /skipintro is to avoid having to do that).
