Clicking on mini map

I whole-heartedly disagree. The camera zoom in-out is fantastic and can take care of porting easily. I still find myself clicking a scroll and then clicking on the minimap to no avail (longtime DOTA and TFT player) but it's one of the main reasons for using the camera zoom-out. More realistic and at least requires some skill / situational awareness. Devs please don't change this, or before you know it the game will have no learning curve and will just be a graphics-heavy blizzard product.

I'm starting to get the feeling this game isn't nearly as broken as the mouth-pieces of the community claim it is, and I hope (and know) devs will proceed with caution when addressing issues simply because 90% of the community feels alienated by the unDOTAness/uniqueness of a dynamic.

Minimaps exist to solve a problem in previous game-engines that do not support full map zooming.  Sup-com style zooming renders minimaps and minimap interactivity obsolete.  You will become a better player by learning how to fully utilize the zoom features to gain superior situational awareness and map navigation than those available from minimaps.  By forcing players away from the archaic minimap paradigm gpg is improving the entire gaming community.

It would be great if you can point something on the minimap so that you're allies would know that you need help at that point or something else. Much easier then telling by text.

Hover your mouse over something in the game (not on the minimap) and press P.

I would really like this features it kinda annoyed me when I tried to click on the minimap and I couldn't do this.

i also like to have this feature because i think it's much much slower to zoom out and zoom in to the desired spot than to simply click on the minimap to hop to this spot.

The zoom is the best thing ever! After SupCom i could not play any other RTS without it. Minimaps & scrolling is outdated!
