Long story short, my friends and I operate a Guild Wars guild named Mercanaries of Xero and we have a 100-slot Ventrilo server. However, as there are only about five people who are regularly on it, I convinced my friend who is the server admin to make a Demigod channel on the server with a bunch of subchannels for individual games further divided into two teams. Best of all, we don't have a password, so, it's open to all. So, if you and some friends want to play some DG with voice chat, well, then, come on in and take your shoes off.

 

Here's the info:

Hostname: mox.guildvent.net

Port number: 5700

 

If you find the names of the channels for the individual games to be odd, well, that's because the admin insisted I could only start this up if he got to name the channels. :P

EDIT: Forgot to mention that server is situated in San Francisco. So, the closer you are to SF, the better your experience on the server should be.

People can use my vent to. Texas 50slotter. Usually only me and friends in + random people from time to time.

Nice to see folks offering some nice options for ingame voice.

Personally we from Clan Tyranny have all been using Skype. Very stable and clear connection, and absolutely a breeze to set up.

But whatever works best for each individual.

It's great of you to offer this though guys...Kudos.

I beg to differ. I've had many of nights where its me and my friends in our channel (us 5 or 6 of us) and about 50 ppl in the channel below that i didn't know a single person.

Who can I complain to about people acting like jerks on this vent server?  Or would it be better if I just start recommending people stay away from it?

A friend and I were using it tonight and some guy named glitchless 'spammed' us 'fagg*ts' off of the server.

I'm sorry, this guy really needs to be kicked from the server.  He spammed the junk below, but multipled by a thousand.

I was in there today, the guy who runs it is a real nice chap, shame there are people abusing the goodwill of a community member.
